I usually use shift+ctrl+click (or maybe double click). Maybe there's another way?

Shift+Double Click - Select and call target.
CTRL+Space - Call your current target.

You don't need the Shift, its just Ctrl+Spacebar to call the target you are attacking.

Basically, holding down Ctrl and doing something will call it out to your team. Ctrl+Left Click on certain interface things will call it to your party. Things like clicking on your Health or Energy bar will call your current and max health or energy. Clicking on the exp bar will call your level and how far to your next level you are. Clicking on your Death Penalty/Moral Boost will call that with its percentage. Clicking a skill while holding Ctrl calls that spell (and if its a spell that targets an enemy, it will say "I'm using <whatever skill> on <target>, press T to select my target", so you can call a target like that too). You can also call any Condition or Hex on you so your healers can take them off.

I believe if you hold down Shift when you try to call a target, it will call it but you won't start attacking. That's useful for pointing out who you want to attack before the group is ready to go in.

no, you are not understanding me.

Before this last patch when i would hold ctrl + shift + space, Rather then say
"Im attacking ____!" it would say "Im attacking ____ press T to select my target."

Yeah, just noticed that. Maybe they took that last bit out because you can change the called target select key to something other than T if you want.
